He will be gone in 4 years, not able to keep the promises that got him elected in the first place.

Let's pray that you are correct and the damages caused by his presidency are not permanent.

As of today Americans are being forced to live under a communist leader.  Lets hope it's not forever.

Please God, Bless America.

Never said the country was a Democracy.

I said the way he s been elected was democraty (I meant democratic because he won the election, whatever the pattern is, and not because he won a presidential lottery or be given power by is brother who was the last president of the republic like in a Banana republic).

$200.00

A little luck and history goes into the bet.

The opportunity presented itself on Sunday afternoon. I had flown to Texas and had gone to a customers house for the game and beverages of choice. Also at the house was a bartender from a local bar frequented by Harley riders, turns out he is also a bookie. So I decided to place a bet.

As for betting 200.00, when I was working at the Budd Company I used to put 200.00 aside for bets in football season. If I lost the 200.00 that was it, no more bets. So I figured since I no longer worked at Budd and had not bet at all I would put the 200.00 on the game.

Needless to say it worked out well, gave the bookie a $20.00 tip.

Just thought I would let you know Soul, I had exceptionally good luck on the Super Bowl. I bet on the Cardinals  (200.00) but had been rooting for Pittsburgh.

Got the best of both worlds when Pittsburgh won but Arizona covered the spread.

as to racism or equal rights or affirmative action, my most memorable experience with that was in three different instances that I was not hired simply because I was a white male and one of the applicants was not.

When I tested during college for the Minnesota Highway Patrol I scored higher than some of those accepted yet they were accepted and I was not because they were given BONUS points for being black or female or hispanic...The test conductors even explained it to us so we would know that is the only reason... ::)
To say it enraged a few of us passed over cause we were white males is an understatement >:(
minnesota is 94% white so they always had trouble qualifying for federal money in all areas, college, LE, etc...cause they cannot reach "equal opportunity"/"affirmative action" numbers without massively dropping the standards for minorities in head to head competitions.
Part of why I moved to texas eventually. 20% white/80% hispanic areas are blatantly racist in both directions but at least dont bother playing these stupid political feel good games constantly.

Plus Minnesota became a communist state with communist ideas of gun freedoms...

please stop saying the USA is a democracy.  WE ARE A REPUBLIC!
a democracy is mob rule. the founding fathers were terrified of the concept of mob rule so they purposefully directed us to be a republic.
the primary idea of a democracy is that all people living there has a vote, the primary idea of a republic is that only citizens of the country get the responsibility of voting.   HUGE DIFFERENCE.

thank you, and have a nice day everyone.
even Canadians.

PS
I wish Obama luck as well, I just hope he respects our freedoms and liberties in regards to gun rights as well as how much he claims to respect our rights to habius corpus and fair trials...his history scares the hell out of me though.
Bush raped our constitution and I fear Obama will as well. Just cause different politicians choose to discard different parts of our BILL OF RIGHTS WRITTEN INTO OUR CONSTITUTION THEY ARE SWORN TO UPHOLD AND DEFEND doesnt mean we should let any of them get away with violating any part of it for any reason.

Many of us swore to "uphold and defend the constitution of the United States of America" at one time or another. Not to uphold the government of the USA, just the constitution, thats where that "all enemies, foreign and domestic" part applies...

I am sorry to insult brave well meaning warriors, but anyone who took that oath in good conscience must abhor the "patriot act" that spits upon the constitution we swore to defend, even if it gives the bad guys the advantage, our principals can not be negotiable.

I fear Obama's policies but I would willingly die at his lawful command defending my country, the same as any good american would. We just gotta remember to hold our leaders accountable on their end to stay within the framework of OUR constitution. Once they step outside of that framework and authorization, they must be stopped, by any and all who have sworn to protect the constitution with their lives.

THE BILL OF RIGHTS, NOT JUST A GUIDELINE...  ;)
