Long story short, I contused the joint of my left middle finger and stressed the tendons... probably from flipping off some of these quality Virginia drivers trying to outrun Engine 6 on the way to a call...
I got fitted for a splint today, the option being a cast... I have to wear the splint 23.5 hours a day.... 30 minutes off for shower time. I've decided to save all my 30 minute time off for a collective 3.5 hours a week of MoH time on a chosen weekend day. OK, so this means I won't shower for the next 4 weeks until I go back to the doctor, but at least I'll still be able to play...
A man just has to have his priorities....
