Cripes, I just might have to re-register and reply to Feltan on FS.
He explains it away so casually, in generalization, not even mentioning that he was hardly a knowlegeable participant in the mass exodus.
Unlike DE I agree with very little of Feltans reasoning simply because many of those who left are still active gamers. They did not burn out, they left because FS at it's core deteriorated. They were not malcontents until they became persons whose opinion did not matter. Control was centralized and not shared even though many were willing to accept additional responsibility for operations.
The list goes on but why bother.
Simply put, people left because FS hardly represented or listened to the majority of the members. It was a class based administration and hardly recognizable as the organization it's founder, Desert Eagle, intended it to be.
