It's kind of nice to have a forum where point and / or counterpoint can be made without censorship.

I agree with you 100% Shamu. Censorship is NOT somethig im a big fan of.I may have been misunderstood when saying that I would like to see this thread turn back around. It wasnt meant to be taken in a controling way. Just my personal stance on the issue. A mear hope for the better is all I intended and I appoligize if I offended you, Medic or anyone else in doing that. Perhaps someone else may have worded it better because im not the greatest with wording things.

Uh, let me apologize if I even made you think you offended me, not in the least in any way. Also pls. understand my lead in was completely in jest trying to interject humor. Damn forums do not always get the proper translation.

My only reason to reply was because my post was in response to a recent incident and not bring up previously hashed items. I simply wanted to make all understand the issue I talked about was a recent development.

And to boot a Council member opens a thread then a moderator locks it again   Talk about overruling.  But then again if your in that certain group you can do anything you want.|Bug| MADDOG

Dog, I would like to have seen your reaction if that had been done to you when you were on Council

Were done to me, preferably, that person would no longer be a moderator, at the least I would have requested a warning be issued to the Moderator so it would not happen again. Which, btw, was not the case here because it was done more than once by the same person to the same Council member..

Shame of it is that the Council member who was being treated this way, HC, was the one trying to bring about a peaceful resolution.

Note: That is not to say I agree with HC's opinions, he knows what I mean and if he reads this I am sure understands.

Not to worry, I did my contacting by PM.  Got my apologies and questions answered.  It will not happen again.

By the by, I find it hard to believe that anyone has accused Shamu of recruiting.  I think if he is talking of any recruiting it might be a posting of Woundy's that said to join him on the Bug Server and listing the IP address.  I know I certainly told Maddog I had no problem with telling his friends where they could find him.  I think it was the posting of the IP number instead of just saying I am now on the Bug Server.  Oh, how such small things affect our lives.

I never once mentioned an IP.  One time I said "so and so went to the Buggars."  That post was deleted.  Another one I asked "why can't I mention the Bugs?"  That was also deleted and I never got an explanation for reasons from anyone until a while later someone admitted.

Took alot of asking to get a reply.  And no one will speak up for all the other times.

It's the "behind cloosed doors" mentality that drove so many members to leave.

You have a clique running FS that cares not what the members think, only what they can do that meets their personal agenda.

At this point they can do pretty much what they want because new members have no clue as to what transpired in the recent past.
