All I can tell you is that I will be here for the long haul.  I'll be here so that I can make the Free Soldiers a lasting fraternity.  For those who have left the FS for other opportunities: I wish you well.  And I hope your friendships are just as lasting!

I'll end by saying this:  Be honest with yourself.  If you don't feel the Free Soldiers are right for you, by all means, seek that which will make you happy.  If you are enjoying yourself here at the FS, then stick around!  And welcome home.

With this amicable post from Drummer...I say we bury the proverbial hatchet for good! Lets follow DE's and Drummer's advice and let go. Make it a clean break and quit looking back.
Forgive and remember why we are all here.
I ask that the rest of the Buggars support this step forward and let's start by removing this entire post and respectfully resign ourselves from similar posts in the future.

If we can do what you said and remove this and any other "about the FS" posts, I'll let it go too. But let them bring it up and a tongue lashing they'll get!!

It just sickens me to see when they type things like:

The majority, most likely all of us, did not use the FS as a springboard to something better. We let people in who wanted the FS to diverisfy to give them variety. We accomodated them, the clan grew on the COD side, then soon enough the die hard MoH players were left to near empty servers and treated like " move with us or move away". Rules and council took the CoD swing too...

They didn't make the FS what it was.... it's membership has dropped instead of continued to grow, there's dissention still in their ranks, yet they try to sound sooooo happy. They can kiss my hairy ass and stop coming in here and trying to rub our noses in it. What comes around , goes around.... now they can go around somewhere else...

Please delete this topic... I'm sick of seeing it and sick of being made sick by seeing them.

Bear in mind that one of the things Seven and I committed to in the development of this group was not to Delete or Edit posts unless they were to contain foul language or direct personal attacks.

I do not think deleting the posts or topic is a solution nor is it a practice we want to start in the Buggars. Any action of Deletion sets a precedent and be used in later arguments, perhaps without valid justification.

In time, after 30 days of inactivity, the posts will disappear per web site settings. (This does not apply to Stickys)

I would prefer to let server side settings run their course than exercise a deletion option.

Even if there is only one person in these posts that would not want them deleted that still needs to be respected.

If you want it gone, best not to keep it active.

I was thinking about trying a wax or just using duct tape.... :o

Any suggestions??
