EOTech Holo sight is on the SOCOM, looks good.

For anyone not knowing what a Holo sight is.......Seven, this means you, try the below link:

http://www.eotech-inc.com/simulator/simulator.html

You don't technically aim, keep both eyes open and put the dot on target, need not even be centered in the optic.

EO tech is nice, got one myself. Good quick pick up with both eyes open to watch for threats. Plus the price is not bad.

Nah, just in case the Canadians decide to invade ;)

Actually it is an in sight into the mindset of some American gun owners.

Most of it is about the "right to bear arms" found in our Bill of Rights, a group of 10 amendments to our Constitution.

Amendment II
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

This amendment is often under discussion as to if it was meant for our military only or did it include non military persons right to bear arms.

A gun law that had been in place for sometime has recently expired. Now there is talk about reinstating it on a Federal level and several states are trying to implement laws that are intended to supercede Federal law. Pennsylvania is one of them.

One of my reasons for belonging to the NRA is to protect gun owner rights. However I am not hard core NRA, I do not mind background checks, I do not mind gun registration, I do not want gun type restrictions.

I do not want criminals to be allowed to buy a gun. I only want the right to buy a gun providing a person’s record gives no cause to prohibit them from gun ownership.

I also want, and the NRA supports, significantly higher criminal punishment for crimes committed with a gun. Mandatory jail time, no parole just for starters. I go even further saying mandatory capital punishment for crimes committed with a gun resulting in the death of the victim.

No person guilty of committing a crime should walk out without at least 5 yrs. jail time.

The gun shown above in this forum is Pre-Ban, it had been banned previously but that law has expired. I think it was the Brady Bill. Now it may be implemented again or even worse laws implemented by States. So I bought it before it becomes illegal again.

Know what makes it illegal? The bayonet lug on the lower front of the barrel. Without knowing what I am talking about you may not even notice it. Give me a break......stupid law.

Some people collect cars, stamps, art, coins, Hummel’s or whatever. I happen to like guns if I have some extra funds I am likely to use them on a gun. I also know that when I die the guns will be appreciated because both of my sons enjoy shooting and not sold off for money unless a necessity.

Do I need what I have? Certainly not. But I do want the right to buy them if I wish.

Thanks for posting the picture and the links Shamu. Its good reading for me. I have been collectin guns of all types for the best part of 20 years.. buyig selling and tradeing.. I reloaded my own rounds of many types until i found what fit my abilities the best by brand and load. I dont really do it for home protection but more of the fun of shooting or being able to show the differance between differant guns and ammo. Although i have been known to sleep with them from time to time.. lol

Heres one of my fun guns.

somebody elses turn to post a picture now.. lol

Though not technically mine, she was my baby for over a year. She went everywhere I did, except on holiday.

I would like to build one, one of these days. Thanks for sharing, Shamu. And the EOtech is a nice site. I got the chance to shoot with one.
