Were you insured? Do you have to pay extra of all the medical shit?
I guess now you have to be a patient with patience, eventually it will get fixed.
Most will depend on if Soul was legitimately employed or working "under the table".
If legitimate employment workman's compensation will handle the related cost of medical care. If under the table then the distinct possibility exists that a lawyer will need to become involved.
In some way some compensation should come from whoever he was working for, just depends on how hard he has to fight to get it. If he has to use an lawyer the lawyers fee will be about 30-40% of whatever he gets. This could include medical bills, compensation for pain and suffering, negligence and possibly limited disability.
Hopefully Soul has appropriate medical coverage. And even here you may have to be careful of what you say.
Beware Soul, if you have medical insurance and they find out you were hurt "on the job" they may not pay your bills. They may say it is the employers responsibility and refuse to pay. Same thing can happen in car accidents. Personal insurance will not pay because it should be covered in car accident insurance.
Tricky business these insurance companies.
