Problem with FPS
« on: December 30, 2007, 01:44:48 PM »
I currently have VGA MSI NX8600GT. Weird thing is if I just get in MOHAA, my fps are running at 30. But, if I run a test with performance test v6.1 (benchmark test) and then get in MOHAA, my fps are now 200 !!!!

Can someone tell me how I could duplicate this or make it permanent as that test bench thing is good for only 30 days and  would like to keep my FPS High without having to buy that test software. It has to be something I can do. Also did not change any of my video settings, just ran the test and then went into mohaa !!!!!!

Thanks

I put in a new video card and had problems connecting. I installed the following program which Ttjoum had posted about long ago.

http://www.nhancer.com/

Now no problems. I do not understand it but can only say it worked for me.

Perhaps Seven can ask Ttjoum to comment on details.

make sure you have all your video options set correctly in the MOH control panel, with that card you should be able to max out everything.  Also make sure you have the lastest drivers for the card.

Thanks ... I think I got it resolved. I change a few settings here and there on the video card and FPS seems to be over 100 now so I might be able to play again .. :-) .. Has been a while

Well, still fighting when time allow on my FPS/ Problem has not been resolved and I'm out of idea. It's almost like this card got a mind on his own and adjust itself. I tried from minimum to max settings and all stay the same.

So sorry, I did not forget you guys but just cannot get it going now. Hope soon will be resolved. which will probably mean a new video card!!

Well, do not ask me why, and hopefully will stay that way, but when my video card settings window is open, I was able to play on few sites without any problems  ???. I did encounter poor FPS on one or two so I will have to try when we are a few playing on the |BUG| server.

So I should see you all soon.
