That's why I mentioned Vegas, and I don't think you need to stay on the Strip, The Old Vegas strip might be cheaper but I really do not know much about it.

Does old vegas have golf courses?
That's why I mentioned Vegas, and I don't think you need to stay on the Strip, The Old Vegas strip might be cheaper but I really do not know much about it.

Vegas is cool.  Been there twice and loved it.

But golf is fricking expensive.

TO would be cheaper for all but especially for you Americans with the dollar.  Mind you our dollar is doing good but its still a bargain for you guys.

Well, try a poll. Take suggestions for locations, get alittle background info on whats available for recreation, costs to stay there,nearest airport/rail service, and best time of year to be there and put it in a post with a poll.

Been to Vegas too, but it's out West, doesn't seem we have that many out west that are in the group?? East or Canada?? Will 7 come and what makes it easiest for her?

I haven't talked to the wife yet, but I have a wireless network here at home and the availablility to hack the neighbors network (LOL), room to put some people, a ton of lodging nearby, an hour to DC or 2.5 hours to Va Beach or Baltimore, Kings Dominion 25 minutes away, Williamsburg 90 minutes, etc.

Woundy pointed me to this thread.

After careful consideration, CB and I have decided you should all come up here!

It seems we have everything mentioned in everyone's posts; casinos, golf, shopping, sights, and even a waterfall off one of our bridges here.  :D

Not to mention the biggest mall in the world which has a driving range on the roof, amusement park complete with scary ass rollercoaster and an indoor waterpark with bungee jumping.

For those who don't know, 'up here' is Edmonton, Alberta. (I know this will make Maddog happy...lol).

In all seriousness though, we'd try our best to make it anywhere the meet is in order to meet those of you we haven't and reconnect with those you I/we have.  Of course, we've also made an assumption that we're invited...lmao. (can I say that here, woundy?  ;) )

Edmonton is cool but I have a feeling TO is going to be the place.

canadas "wonderland" a very scaled down version of disney. anything east upper or mid is good for whitey and i ;) :)
