KC, what was your full callsign? (VE2MNS)
Drago, humourless? I believe none of it.

In my case, this has been the second IRC nick I've used back in 1995(!!!). It has an obscure reference in a french song and what someone said to me at the time. Much like a muse, an egerie is the allegoria of an artist's inspiration, to the difference that it also refers to mythology. Seven, if I'm wrong you can slap me =)
I thought about changing my nick when first joining TeamSpeak since anglophones had so much trouble with the pronounciation but decided against it. I've ALWAYS had this nick on EVERY single forum/game/whatever that I wasn't about to change it, even for a silly bunch of speech-challenged BUGs ;p

There is also the famous nun Egeria...but and since Ege was always prude and innocent it also fits her well ;) right? =)

Egerie, I am glad you stuck with this nickname...once some of us speech challenged Bugs learned to say it, it is kinda fun the way it rolls off the tongue...
i could make a sexist comment there. however i grant you mercy this morning.  ;D

as for soul collector... :bang: :beer2: :golf2:

well...what can i say to someone an entire country rejected...

i would hate to hurt his feelings after something like that...

miss you all, lots. hope to get on more but by the time i finish work lately, all you old farts are sleeping already.  :old:

I started useing the name Beckett about 15 years ago on Prodigy Classic. I used to role play there. My name Beckett was takein from a 5th century poet named Thomas Beckett (Not Thomas A Becket).
Thomas Beckett was a mighty warrior who traveled the coutry in search for an everlasting love. At the age of 30 he had found a woman to wich he would proclaim his love. Beckett settled in a village close to his love and continued his peotry writeing only to her. There was only 1 problem, she was married to a lord. He new this would surely cost him his life but he still proclaimed his love to her for all to hear. Beckett was takein by the kings orders and assinated. All of his poetry was found after his death along with a small fortune.

Hence forth (my name) Beckett was born and the fictional charictar was born. When they closed prodigy classic most of the charictars died there. Beckett for one was killed by his father for imbarrassing the family name by pursueing a fight with the lasombra clan. But thats a whole nother story.

Does anyone remember LYCOS??
That's where I got my start playing on-line games.
I used to play Euchre there under the name Johndidit...it was a great ice-breaker of a name with most asking..
"John...what did you do?"
to which I would reply...
"I did most of it..got blamed for the rest!"

Then along came a game called Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
I shortened the name to Didit and added the _1 just for shits and grins!
And here I am!

I'm from a village in France called "Saint Etienne Du Gres"

Locals call it "Le Gres" .....

At first I used Cpt LeGres when getting into MOHAA but on [FS] we would not use ranks and I kept LeGres

When I was a boy I watched frontier shows and movies.One of the lines they used now and then was "don't shoot till you see the whites of their eyes" thus my nick WHITEEYES.Interesting thread. :peye: :peye: :thumb2: :punk: :golf2:
