Temporarily Out of Commission

My DSL connection is on the fritz after a week of rain and wind. Verizon is supposed to dispatch to repair this weekend - before Monday - since my phone line is completely out. Typically I have a 1.5 Mbps DSL connection. Right now it's negotiating at 384, and it has been down completely at times.

So, right now I'm at the mercy of Verizon. Hopefully they'll get out yet today to fix the problem.
I'm AFK until it's fixed.

Gee, it sure is too bad we don't have any linemen to fix things.

sorry to here this K-man.. i hope the verizon gods are kind to you and visit you soon.. Good luck man.. i could send you a couple paper cups and a string if that helps, but i dont think it will.. lol

Oh man,......no internet....bummer.
Whenever they get around to upgrading to FiOS, go for it.
My download speed is around 4950 mbps and soon to double at no extra cost.

Thanks for the kind replies. Life without the internet does suck, but sometimes it can be a good change of pace.

Cobra - as soon as I can get Fios, I will. That's been on my wish list since I first found out about. Unfortunately, slower, lower Delaware is not high on the priority list for new tech.

And thanks for finally showing up Didit - those lousy lineman hackers....  :bang:
