Whats up with our website lately? Seems like since the post about it being upgraded and it was suppose to make it quicker its gotten worse. It takes quite some time for it to load the main home page. After that its spotty. Any idea why or when it will be fixed?

I you did it's why the server is slow.I took mine off.And the speed it back where it was.

A ticket has been submitted, in the ticket I commented about it being down for some time on Thurs and extremely slow since.

At this time the only feedback is that the ticket has been assigned to tech support.

The website upgrade has not yet been requested but has been researched. The reply to Seven's inquiry from Clanservers was:

clansite pro give you 3 databases 25 gigs of bandwidth and 500 megs of harddrive space for 7.95 a month

clansite elite gives you 3 data bases 50 gigs of bandwidth and 1 gig of harddrive space for 12.95 a month

please let me know if you would like to upgrade

I expect the upgrade to happen but would not like to give them our current issues as an excuse to rush the upgrade.

Let's see what their response is to our current web site issues.

BTW Soul.....I do not have the new Explorer and I am still very slow.

I thought is was just me and my interent connection. But ye its very slow here too.. i have seen a .smf file apppearing on the front page that ive never seen before. If thats any help.

Ive been noticing it takes great determination to post also LOL!!

I had downloaded Explorer 7 and HATED IT, and went into add/remove programs and got it back off again! It's awful!!  It's still very very slow loading here for me too, wonder if any remanents of Explorer 7 still remain?? I have cable and it's slow I can't imagine what dial up would be like loading!

Its clanservers.. its after the redirect. and i went back and checked what i was seeing and you were right Shamu.. thats what i saw but thats not what i meant.. lol

Prety sure it's a Clanserver issue.

It was down totally for sometime on Thursday.

As yet no action on the ticket other than it has been assigned to a tech guy.

Not sure if Holidays or weekends impacts their service.

I dont use Internet Explorer for a browser. Mozzila's Firefox is a much better browser and is much more secure. THE PORN!!! NO NOT THE PORN!!! I cant live without it. You cant make me. I wont do it!!!

Tried Mozilla, did not like it, ran choppy.

I run Netscape 7.2 and it runs fine except here.
Today things are a little better but still not like it used to be.
It's definately a clanserver issue.
I never use I.E.......never have, never will.

Ticket VAO-15140 has been updated by Dave Morehead [staff].

i have found a script that was clogging up the cpu of the server, the server should be much faster now and stable please let me know if you still have issues.
