when is the SB? Imight take the day off to watch it.

S.

http://www.superbowl.com/

Kickoff should be around 6:30 PM EST, did not look for exact time.

Prince is the entertainment for the Half Time show. I will only be watching that part by accident.

Got to confess, I did watch the Stones last year.

Don't expect much as far as the game goes, Super Bowls have hardly ever been "super". Usually, as a game, they have stunk.

Now the Colts vs Pats AFC title game.......that was what football is about

I have to agree with you, that AFC final was INSANE .... Now I do remember a great SB and not too long ago, Pat vs Panthers .... It was a good one ....

Go Colts baby, we are in ......

Curious, what  does a Frenchman call finger food to watch the American game of football ???

At least you are having beer instead of wine ;)

That's a good start and holds promise

Go Eagles!!!! Oh wait, they are spectators, guess I don't really care.

Were I betting I think I would have taken the Colts and the over.

Hmmmm....speaking of betting I will take any bet, prior to game time for 5.00, loser pays to our gameserver.

I will take the Colts -6.5 or the Over at 47.5. .5 takes out any tie.

Take your choice either or both, most you can lose is 10.00, post acceptance here before game time.

Loser sends money to our Paypal link.

Step right up folks, place your bets ;)

All in good fun and not for profit. Might even give me a reason to watch the game.

I dunno about the Frenchy, but I am having sweet red wine  :pissed:.
Its 2:44am here, Colts are 16-14 ahead, and this is definately the most interesting SB first half I ever watched live.

ok its only the 2nd SB I watch live lol but the last one I saw ended 0-0. It was so dull so at the half time I decided to goto sleep. I missed Janet's boobs and one of the most interesting 2nd halfs (I think it was Pats vs Panthers?).

This time I will stay at least till the half time ...cause I LIKE PRINCE! yoohooo!

anyway just thought of sharing ;D

go Colts! (I have no clue about teams but I am with the Frenchy!)

S.

p.s. I wonder why our game server is empty... ;)

p.s2. oh and we finally have some winter here, its snowing a bit outside.

Well, at half-time I have to say this is one of the sloppiest SB's ever played.

Does make it interesting however and the weather is certainly a factor.

Vinatieri missing a field goal at the end of the half could come back to bite the Colts in the butt. Heck of a time for him to miss.

The commercials relly suck, by far the worst ever for a SB, not even one has been memorable.

I LOL'd at the one with the rabbit, guinea pig, and mouse commercial. But I agree, they are pretty lame this year.

A big weight has been lifted ..... Colts have made it against all predictions at the beginning of the Play Off ....

Great Team, great game ...... Go Colts ......

       :thumb2:

For the commercial, the only one that really made me laff was at the beginning for Budweiser, with the two guys playing Paper, rock, scissor ..... Still laffing ... might be all the beers I drank tonight ....

For the commercials it's either the Bud with Rock, Paper, Scissors or the pet shop window. I suspect I'll lean to Bud. (I had sympathy for the poor mouse )

However in each case I needed to be reminded of them, no commercial really stood out as unique or special.

When I have tosit here trying to remember what they were that tells me right away they did not accomplish the goal they want as advertisers.

Of course at 63 I am no longer the target audience either. :( That might have something to do with it. :o

For Legres:

Congrats. Peyton and the D deserved it.  I do think the running tandem should of got MVP instead of Peyton though.  But still nicely done.

For Shamu:

What is the only difference between the SuperBowl and the Grammys?

Would not know, never have watched the Grammys. I suppose that means the commercials are even worse ;D

Not quite, the correct answer is:

The Eagles have won at the Grammys.   :P ;)
