I don't why you guys bother talking about how great S.D. is....
The already lost once against the greatest team in the land, Da Ravens. Our defense already stopped L.T. once and will most likely do it again. The biggest strength on the Chargers, L.T., is also their biggest weakness. Once you stop him, you are going to put all the pressure on Rivers who is good, but not good enough to lead them down the field repeatedly. The receievers on the Chargers are average except for Gates, who may catch first downs but not stretch the field.
I am hoping the Patriots go into S.D. and beat them. And then my Ravens beat the Colts, who I am most afraid of because of that one QB they got....Peyton something....oh Manning. Not including their rookie back who is eating up tough yardage lately. If we can get a couple nice first downs running the ball against the Colts, we should fare well. We just can't run up the middle everytime and expect yardage. We need to run some counters and outside tail backs in order to get positive yardage and at the same time take away Freeney's game. Once the Ravens do beat the Colts, and Patriots beat S.D, we play the AFC Championship at home which will be a huge plus and I think we may have a better change against the Patriots then the Colts this week.
As far as the NFC goes....who knew Garcia was going to be this good. What do you do with McNabb if Garcia goes to the SuperBowl? Unfortunately, this won't happen. The Eagles have to travel to New Orleans and play in the SuperDome which is going to be crazy. I expect a close game but I think it will come down to field position and I have more trust in Brees's extension of the field more than Garcia. I expect Saints to win, although I am pulling for Garcia.
As far as the Bears/Seattle game, someone flip a quarter, Bears = Heads, Seahwaks = Tails. Tell me what the outcome is....
