   I found this while trying to help you with a solution. It has worked for many with your paticular card.


"The latest driver I have gotten to work no problems was 91.31. Do a search on the nvidia site for "driver archive" and find it from there."

Also there have been others that use a program called nhancer that seems to be helping people with the 7950 card. Heres a link for that program also.

Im not sure if anyone has upgraded to the new windows vista os but im hearing that it does not support opengl. Has anyone managed to install vista and still play spearhead?

Hi trauma i have vista on mine i can still play it.But my card sucked so i got a gefore 7950 gt oc 256 mb gddr3 and still only run 25 fps.

Vista seems like it's not gamer friendly.  A few of the people in our clan went to vista, and after a very short period, went back to XP.  Those 2 articles are pretty interesting.  the quote I love from the first one is

"When going from an XP machine to Vista, it feels like you just went from a Toyota Celica to a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. The only problem is, that it feels like your new Ferrari borrowed your Celicas engine. We'll let the numbers speak for themselves."

i've spoken to ea games now. they are tring to fix the problem. will post back. they have one day then roamer goes out to buy a new video card.
any suggestions on a good new card?

Seriously though I am damn glad I have not had those problems, I am too computer illiterate to deal with it.

Sounds like Windows Vista migh be something to avoid.

Soul has a new PC and lousy FPS even with a new card. Not sure if he has Vista or not.

Just hope things work out for you.

Yep i Have Vista its ok for a lot of things but not games.I will be putting xp on this week.

Since you have a new computer, I'm assuming your video card is x16 PCI Express. Or at least you should have a slot for one, not the old style PCI. I have an ATI Radeon card 512 MB and it claims to be Windows Vista Ready, but I couldn't prove it since I am running XP. I still think if your desktop resolution is set too high it will affect how MOH starts, my opinion only. And my desktop is set at 1152 X 864. See if this helps.

I bought Warchest some days ago and installed it after a format.
Latest drivers Win XP full updated etc etc.

Well Spearhead and Breakthrough just crash whatever i did.

After some googling i found out yesterday at last that there is a problem with the latest nvidia drivers so the solution is a program called nhancer it did the job 100%.

P.S I read that it can helo with Vista also.

hi everyone,
thanks for all the help on getting me back up and running. my computer is temp fixed and it was a program called ehancer2 that did it. a special thanks to all those that replied to my thread and helped me, thanks everyone!!
ea games and nvidia are poison for help, if it wasn't for you guys i'd still be down
