Didn't know the details, but knew something was up from hearing Shamu talk to CB jr on teamspeak. I've only played MOH with MsCB a few times on the FS server so I really don't know her but still.......very good news.  :)

Shamu, thank you for your thoughtfulness.  It's very much appreciated.  I'm feeling bad that you had to peruse other forums to get an update, since I talk to your son at least a couple times a week.  I guess I assumed he'd fill you in, so, my bad   :( (Woundy will get his spanking later on  ;)).

We still don't have much more news, other than I've done the ultrasound, another ct scan and an mri angiogram (I think that's what it was called).  So, now we wait for the results to see if they can cut me open again and take this last bit of crap outta me.

It truly has been divine intervention; I'm positive of that.  How else do you explain going from "incurable" to this?   ;D

So, thanks to all my friends here at Buggars for your thoughts and prayers.  It worked!   ;D

p.s. I promise to do a better job of keeping you updated from now on.

That's probably what he is hoping for  ;D

He is a devious little bugger.

Any way good to hear from you. Also know others have commented on the good news while in game that have not posted here, Maddog just a few minutes ago.

So pls take care and all the best in the future.

C'mon Didit, you are slipping.......notice my spelling, it was "bugger" ;) :D

Not the scottish accent term we have adopted.

But anyway, let me not derail this thread. I am sure all of us old head FS are well pleased with Ms CB's progress and wish her all the best for the future.

I always knew she was strong  ;), but this impresses me even more.

Hey all... CB here giving you an update   ;D

Ok so here's the poop!

Mel went in for her surgery today (which was booked for 7.5 hours) and was done early.  I talked to the Dr. and she said that she got everything out and that Mel will do really well!   She is pumped up on the morphine right now but is all smiles and jokes.  We still aren't sure quite how long she will be in the hospital for as it depends on how she is doing day to day.

Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts, I will be sure to keep you posted as I know more.

Take care,

Clay & Mel & Family

Thank you Clay for posting.

I am not  good about these things, I don't know when I should be asking or not.....I get uncomfortable.

Brew was in the other day and I had asked him and got a brief update.

As always please tell Ms CB our thoughts and best wishes for her health are with her. This also holds true for you and the family. Times like these are also difficult for the family and, as her support group, require a high degree of strength.

All of you hang in there and tell Mel we are all thinking of her, many of us with admiration, of how she has handled herself during this crisis.

Ever see anyone of us on TS feel free to jump in on TS and drag us aside if you ever feel like talking. I assure you the game is secondary.

Hey Everyone, (this is Clay)

Happy Easter!

Mel is home and doing alright.  Going through a tonne of pain at the moment trying to cope with T3's instead of the morphine.  It may be a little while before she gets on for lengthy periods of time but she will be back :)

Just thought I'd pass along the info that she is home now and thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, they are much appreciated.
