Intruder in my house!
« on: May 26, 2007, 04:31:15 AM »
So I wake up tonight hearing a different noise, kind of like a very light sounding foot dragging noise that is coming from outside my bedroom door maybe the closet door.  I think "no biggie I'm very tired."  But I pay attention.

10 minutes later I hear it again.  Now the thought is "I don't believe in ghosts and now they mean to prove me wrong."  The shotgun gets pulled out ready for battle.

5 minutes later I hear it again, this time it is in my bedroom.  The shotgun is in hand and I turn on the lights.  A damn bat is flying around above my head.

So I grab a tshirt and after a few rounds snag him mid-air, he makes a crazy "gee gee gee gee" noise and flies out.  After a few more laps around the bedroom I snag him again and he makes the same crazy noises but this time I have him secured better in the tshirt. He squauks but soon turns silent. I take him outside to let him go and think that "god damn its 12am I might as well take pics."

Well I took a couple of him but when I picked him up by his feet to get a better pic but he made the crazy noise and grabbed the hell outta my hand so I let him fly off.

Made a drink for myself too.

Good pic in the tshirt...

Blurry tshirt pic...

Shotgun ready for the dumbass in my house...

the pros of leaving in the center of the city! no bats flying inside your house! only king size roaches  :o :D

I would absolutely freak out if I had a bat flying inside my room.
How big is this one? it looks like a kitty with wings from this pic but I know they are ugly little fellows.

brrrr! you are a brave man!  :-*

Big city?......i think bats will live anywhere they can as long as they can find good eats.
I'm not big city or country, just very populated suburban area and bats are pletiful. As well as deer, turkey, even owls. Good thing 7even didn't have the shotgun....there would be holes all over her bedroom ceiling and walls.  :bang:

I needed a good chuckle, I can even visualize Woundy on the hunt. ;D

He gets kudos from me for catch and release as opposed to swat and kill.

Wonder if he was sleeping naked ???

The bat might of got hold of his wanker......that would have been fun to see

Tired and scared...

My camera skills are lacking...

I have more but they are all to bright and/or fuzzy.

Caught another one but this one seemed bigger than the others.  And in trying to get a cool pic I found out that they bite like hell.
