What caliber is the Kar?

8mm.

Ammo readily available. Todays commercial loads like Federal and Remington are actually a little less powerful than the original 8mm military load for this rifle.

I have some of both........not original Military ammo but current commercial grade ammo and current ammo made to the WW II standards for the Kar.

BTW, I have photos of almost all of my guns for record purposes. I took a few more here because of the WW II and armory identyfying marks.

Seven...How did you know that 1 of the players was absent for the picture? For real!

I'm even braver/dumber than you think....I am also coaching another girls team in the U14 division with my other daughter playing...

FYI...in the photo...that's my 16 yr. old right behind me...she is also my asst. coach for the U14 team....can you believe she is about 5'-10" tall....not sure what that is in metric units Seven...but here in the States....she's a tall drink of water!  :laugh:
